How to make an appointment

Appointments

Our Appointment System

An appointment system is operated at the surgery.  We have a Telephone Triage System for GP appointments, calls are assessed and patients are contacted for a face to face appointment.

Pre-bookable appointments are also available at the surgery.

Please, remember an appointment is for One Person Only and a separate appointment should be made for any other person attending a consultation.

If you have a Disability and require a double appointment or help from a carer, please inform staff so that we can help as required.

You can book an appointment by telephone, visiting the surgery, or visiting the NHS Wales App, website.  Alternatively, non-urgent appointments can also be made by emailing the surgery.

Our chaperone policy can be found here, should you wish to read this document.

Out of Hours Surgery

If whilst the surgery is closed, you require immediate out of hours medical advice, please dial 111.

If you have a medical emergency, please do not hesitate to dial 999.

Video Consultations

Cwmaman Surgery is able to offer video consultations to patients if they have access to a smart phone or video device.  During a telephone consultation with a GP or member of staff you may be asked for consent for a video consultation, and given instructions on how to use the link between the GP and yourself.

If you do not wish to participate in a video consultation please inform your GP and this will not affect your treatment in anyway.
