Medical Support Team For Cwmaman Surgery

Receptionists are trained as Care Navigators with the support of the GPs. Care Navigation ensures you receive care from the most appropriate professional which may not be a GP. All patients will politely and confidentially be asked for the reason for their appointment request. If you have symptoms that are better suited to care from other surgery team members, organisations or community-based services, the care navigator can give you the choice to access these instead. These could include:
  • Minor injuries
  • Pharmacy
  • Opticians
  • Dentists
  • Anhwylderau Cyffredin
  • Gun license not undertaken in surgery
  • Privacy notice
  • Email policy
  • Zero tolerance
  • South Cynon cluster
Additional Members
Other members of our team include an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, mental health support services, common ailments scheme, dentists, opticians and third sector organisations, such as a wellbeing coordinator.
Service Providers
Please note that as a patient in Cwmaman surgery you may be referred to one of the MDM Team. You may even be asked to attend another Surgery within the South Cynon cluster Group where individual services are held.
